Lincoln William Harry Leonard

On September 25th, 2020 our family was blessed with Lincoln William Harry Leonard. Lincoln was the last missing piece of the puzzle our family needed to be complete! He was the happiest and easiest baby we could’ve imagined and loved his big sister Lynlee more than anyone. His smile was bright and contagious and his belly laugh could light up an entire room of strangers.

Our hearts were shattered on March 29th, 2021 when only six months old, Lincoln was suddenly taken from us due to aspiration pneumonia. During all the chaos of his departure, our daughter was able to pick a stuffed animal from authorities and chose a butterfly. Ever since then, Lincoln has been our butterfly and flies with us when he knows we need it the most.

When Jenna and Bill first contacted us with our nomination we knew that our little butterfly was with us and we made the decision to take a trip to Hawaii in honor of Lincoln. Words cannot describe the gratitude we feel for Peyton’s Smile every single day and being a part of organizations like this reminds us we are not the only ones going through our pain.
